Time-Limited Returns

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. Returned products must be brand new, unused, and include all original tags and labels.

Order Cancellations & Modifications

Many of our products are custom-made or made to order. Orders may be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of purchase, including requests to change the size, color, shipping address, or product selection.

After 24 hours, your order may have entered the production queue and cancellation or modification can no longer be guaranteed. If your order has already been produced, packed, or shipped, we may not be able to cancel or modify it.

To request a cancellation or modification, please contact us as soon as possible at support@tartanvibesclothing.com with your order number and the requested change.

Accepted Return Reasons

  • Incorrect item shipped: You received the wrong size, color, style, design, or product due to our error.
  • Defective or damaged item: The item has a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit.
  • Item not as described: The product is materially different from the description or images on our website.
No-Return Resolution for select cases: In select cases, we may offer a no-return resolution if the issue can be verified through clear photos and order details. Submit your request through our Return Form.

Returns We Cannot Accept

  • Requests submitted after the 30-day return window.
  • Change-of-mind or discretionary returns.
  • Customer ordering the wrong size, color, product, style, or design. Please consult our size chart before ordering.
  • Items damaged due to customer handling, misuse, improper care, washing errors, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Orders confirmed as delivered within the stated delivery timeframe, where delivery can be verified by carrier tracking information.
  • Gift cards.
  • Sale, discounted, clearance, final-sale, or non-returnable items, unless they arrive defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise required by applicable law.
  • Personalized, custom-made, print-on-demand, or made-to-order products, unless the issue is caused by our error or a verified defect, or unless otherwise required by applicable law.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please fill out our Return Form or email us at support@tartanvibesclothing.com. Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • The full name and email address used for the order.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Clear photos of the product.
  • Clear photos showing the defect, damage, incorrect item, or issue.
  • A photo of the shipping label or package when applicable.
  • Your preferred resolution: replacement, exchange, refund, or store credit where available.
Our support team will review your request and reply with next steps. Please do not send any item back without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be accepted.

Return Authorization

If a physical return is required, our support team will provide the correct return address and return instructions. Please do not send returns to the sender address printed on the package unless our support team specifically instructs you to do so.

Returns sent without authorization, sent to the wrong address, or sent without the required order information may not be accepted.

If we approve a physical return, we recommend using a trackable shipping method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is caused by our error, such as an incorrect item, confirmed defect, or damaged item.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect your authorized return, we will email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

  • PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days.
  • Credit card: Refunds may take up to 10 business days or longer depending on your bank or card provider.
Shipping fees, handling fees, and other non-product charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or otherwise required by applicable law.

Exchanges

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will contact you to confirm the exchange details.

If the exchange is due to our error — such as an incorrect item or confirmed defect — we will arrange a replacement at no additional product cost.

If the exchange is not due to our error — such as the customer choosing the wrong size or color — we may offer a special reorder discount or another resolution at our discretion.

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have certain cancellation or return rights under applicable consumer protection laws. However, these rights may not apply to personalized, custom-made, print-on-demand, or made-to-order items that are produced specifically for you.
